Chilika Lake is Asia's biggest brackish water lake spread over a region of 1100 sq.km. This lake was pronounced an asylum in 1987.Thousands of transient flying creatures flying in from far away as Siberia to make their winter home in unusual waters. Chilika Lake is a heaven for fowl watchers where they can watch the white-bellied ocean hawk, the dark legged geese, the flamingoes, purple moorhen, jacana and heron and numerous more flying creatures. Drifting and angling offices are accessible in this lake. A Voyager can make utilization of the engine dispatches for squashing and going to the close by islands.
There is a few island in Chilika Lake, for example, Barkul, Balugaon, Rambha, Satapara( well known for dolphins ), Nalbana and Kalijai island. At Kalijai Island Goddess Kalijai sanctuary is found. Day 01 | CAMPING AT CHILKA
Move to Satapada from Puri after breakfast. Take a vessel and move to one of the islands inside the lake. Appreciate the wilderness, lake and have delightful new crabs, prawns, and fishes made by our culinary expert. Go to the ocean mouth for a night walk. Rebound to the island and remain overnight in the tent.Day 02 | CAMPING AT CHILKA
Early morning returned to Satpada by pontoon. Drive to Dhemirisena, a conventional Orissa village to watch an established Dance appear, known as Gotipua Dance, Have delectable Lunch in the town Temple. Evening Back to Puri.We can make changes in the Programme as per the requirement of the Guests.
